Very aggressive nose with full agave aroma and overtones of oak and spice. Mouth feel is slightly dry, lean bodied, with clean agave flavor that expands with hints of oak and a spiciness of black pepper. The flavor matches aromas very closely. On second taste, flavors expand on the palate with full agave flavor and overtones of oak, caramel and pepper. Finish is of medium length with good lingering flavors. Overall, this is extremely well made, balanced tequila with full, fruity agave taste and complexity and softening from the aging in oak. Has the potential for good age ability.

very good
Right up there in taste with Patron anejo and Don Eduardo anejo but the cork has some flaws. The cork came unglued when i went to open it after chilling and I ended up having to use a cork screw to open the bottle. |
