"A brilliant sleeper of the vintage from proprietor Stefan von Neipperg (the owner of La Mondotte, Canon La Gaffeliere, and Clos l'Oratoire), this gorgeous wine possesses all the character one expects from this area. A blend of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with a tiny dollop of Cabernet Franc, it exhibits sweet, burning ember, black currant, kirsch, roasted herb, and hot rock-like aromas, a medium-bodied texture, soft, round flavors, and a luscious finish.
