Pleasantly Suprise
The taste is very smooth, not hard and pungent like other gins I've tried. It also mixes well with almost anything. I mixed it with a raspberry ginger ale and the combination was excellent. I'm a wine cooler and sweet wine drinker, however, after drinking this, I am going to have to rethink my drink of choice. |

It doesn't really taste like gin
It doesn't necessarily taste bad, but it really doesn't taste like gin. It's has some not so subtle hints of citrus, but it seems more like a flavored vodka than a gin. It is cheap, but I'd rather have seagram's for the price. This stuff makes an ok GnT, but would make a horrible martini. |

RE-experienced a SUPERB, smooth Gin for the 1st time in a LONG time
Most of the gin I've tasted over the past 30 years tasted like a diluted turpentine and unless it was masked with the tart taste of grapefruit juice, it was not enjoyable. This is A++++ in my book. I sampled it once in ABC at a sampling table when it first was introduced and REALLY liked its smooth full body and the flavor was SO unusual I went a bought a LARGE bottle! It really surprised me because I hadn't drank any gin in years that I enjoyed at all and this one was awesome. I suggest everyone try it at least once. I promise you'll be as pleasantly surprised as I was. Let me know if you do. I plan on having it handy to drink AND share all the time now. |
