The La Broia vineyard is only 3.5 hectares and is 100% Garganega grape variety. The Soave was also harvested in early October in small containers. The grapes were pressed in whole clusters and fermented in stainless steel at a cool temperature. 50% of the wine is aged in large Slovenian oak and the rest in French barriques for 12 months with regular lees stirring. The wine is bottled in November and rests in bottle for another 10 months. Only 6,000 bottles are made. This is as close to white Burgundy as you can get in the Veneto.
