I absolutely love this!!! My new go to drink!!!
I have always loved margaritas, but shied away from them due to them being LOADED with calories. Then I heard about the "Skinny Girl" recipe from Bethenny on Bravo and started making them at home, but found it time consuming when entertaining because I was constantly squeezing lime after lime. Then Bethenny answered my prayers with this product... so awesome!!! It did not disappoint! Tastes awesome, so refreshing and EASY with no guilt!!! All the fun with no compromise in taste!!! I am in love… This will be my go to party cocktail!!! Keep em coming Bethenny!!! I am going to need these by the case for my upcoming wedding!!! |

SKINNYGIRL THE NEW STANDARD IN WHAT A MARGARITA SHOULD TASTE LIKE FOR ANYONE WHO TASTES JUST ONE!
Oh THIS is the only Margarita that will ever taste right to you again. … I LOVE THIS STUFF! …. As the Margarita specialist in my circle of friends, I'm always feeling obliged to bring to every party, the makings for them…. As a fan of a TV show which stars the creator of Skinnygirl Margarita, I'd watched her videos & mastered her recipe - or so I thought. No I hadn't. This stuff is such a perfect mix. There's a lightness to it that makes it all too drinkable but it's not a lightness that makes it any less a perfect Margarita. Let me be clear this is not like drinking a diet soda. Rather, it's a perfectly reconstructed Margarita. PERFECT. Whatever ingredients they've chosen to use in their manufacture are premo. I've tried the top shelf Tequila manufacturers pre-mixed & gagged on them. Too strong a tequila flavor, & absolutely off or artificial flavor in other ways & always lacking the right - what I call "Mouth feel" that certain body & smoothness that makes a really perfect Margarita PERFECT. … A couple of months or so before the holidays I'd called & been told by a clerk [clearly a newbie] that they didn't have it yet but then I'd heard they had it last month when the holiday party merry-go-round began, so on the way to the 1st one of the season, I went to another store right by my house, dropped forty dollars on a quality Tequila & a good Orange Liqueur then I had to make another trip to a grocery store for limes & some orange juice & just because I know how disorganized my friends are, Ice. by the time I was done I was out over $65! I'm driving along & see ABC & am so annoyed at what this party at which I'm a guest who's been told to "Bring NOTHING but yourself" is costing me for a few drinks so, I stopped to go in & remind one of the managers who'd told me 2 months or earlier they'd be getting Skinnygirl that he needed to get on the ball - I have a lot of parties coming up & no intention of repeating this expenditure for each. The minute I walk through the door there's a big display of Skinnygirl. I felt like lying down among them & skipping the party. Being a regular of the store from which I'd already bought my expensive ingredients would take back the unopened bottles of Tequila & Liqueur I'd already bought at least for credit, I did a little math & PS: walked out of ABC with four bottles of Skinnygirl & was as usual the star of the party. not to mention that since they were on an introductory promotion for the purchase of 4 or more, I'd saved $20 dollars for the whole shebang & had enough Margaritas for the entire party. Fast fwd 2 weeks; A couple of the same people from that party are at my house & want a Margarita. I thought I had only a bottle of $65 Anjéo that was a gift but being a good host I made a batch, & these two monkeys make a funny face "Something's wrong with these they're not your usual" That's shot grade, ultra fine tequila that I can't afford to buy myself that I might as well have poured down the drain. I should've known if I'd taken the time to think I usually have among other things a bottle of J.C. Light in the freezer in the garage. So I Make up another batch following the recipe I got online that's the basis of SG margarita by memory as I'd done dozens of times since 1st seeing her do it. What do I hear for that effort? "Much better, but you know, the ones you made the other day were really the best you've ever made. Something's missing?" No kidding. I'VE BEEN THE DELEGATED BARTENDER FOR THIS BUNCH FOR A DECADE. I've bartended for over 20 years. Of course the one who said nothing knew that those "Best" of the other day were Skinnygirl straight from the bottle. ….Do not let the name fool you. This is not some compromised "Margarita Lite" abomination. I swear this will become your personal standard for what you expect when you order a margarita anywhere. …Try this & if you're someone who likes a Margarita with any regularity you will order these by the case. The cost by the case is so good it makes it stupid not to. 3 cartons of store brand orange juice cost more! **Not to ABC - You're welcome. Thanks for finally getting them! And keep it stocked because your competitor that's known more for "All" their wines who shall remain nameless now carries Skinnygirl too & they're not much farther from me than you.
